Montessori

Maria Montessori founded the first “Casa de Bambini” or the “Children’s House” in 1906 in Rome. Since then, the Montessori Method has become an extremely popular method of teaching across the world. At Dundrum Montessori we follow this method.

As well as the main elements of this method, (practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics and culture) activities covered include arts & crafts, Irish, Nursery Rhymes, Songs & Poems, baking and circle time. Weather permitting; we also have an outside play area.

Parents will be kept fully informed of their childs individual progression, along with the class activities on a weekly basis.
