Welcome to Dundrum Montessori

Dundrum Montessori was established in 1988. Conveniently located just off Main Street Dundrum, our school is only a 2 minute walk from the Dundrum Luas stop, and is serviced by many different routes. Our bright spacious classrooms are fully equipped with all the required materials included in the 3-6 Montessori programme.

The Montessori is registered for the ECCE Government Pre School Scheme which will provide a free pre-school year for children in the year before they start primary school.

The scheme commenced on 1st January 2010 and all children, who are aged between 3 yrs 7months and 4 yrs 10 months on 1 January 2010 are eligible.

Under the 38 week scheme the government will contribute €64.50 for 3 hours per day for 5 days per week to children who are registered and qualify.

Our friendly teachers are fully trained and experienced, and have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.

We also offer an Afterschool programme which services both Taney Primary School and Holy Cross National School, where we collect the children at the school’s finishing times, this service is open 5 days per week, from 1.15-6pm.
